The projection system

• The climbing-film movie theater:

  The cinema unit can work both in the mode with platter (back winding device) and in the local mode. The back winding is timed. The electronic speed control and damages control of film strip are carried out. An enlarger head is projected and made for long-term work with low maintenance charges at minimum after-sales service. Its drive mechanism is executed on high-fidelity ball bearings. A film channel with illumination is supplied with the linear adjustment device of frame position in the aperture plate. Electromechanical turrets with optical objectives for three lenses are supplied by the precision horizontal displacement mechanism. Lens adapters provide the quick lens change and their exact focusing.

• The electronic movie theater:

  A construction principle of the information display system is based on information projection to the large screen of movie theater with the help of multimedia projector.

  Professional projectors were created for the electronic cinema. Their characteristics allow to get the image, which doesn’t differ by sight from the film strip image. One of such projectors is BARCO XLM H25. It has QXGA resolution, high light stream, and excellent image contrasting. CHRISTIE, SONY, JVC companies produce projectors of the same class. These projectors are developed and are set in modern movie theaters instead of film ones.

  Universal multimedia projectors are used for installations in multifunction halls. They allow to solve a few tasks at once due to the various video inputs and great number of functions. These are the projectors of the PROJECTIONDESIGN, MITSUBISHI, BARCO, PANASONIC and other companies.

  Computer, video recorder, video presenter, DVD-record player, video cameras, videoconferencing system, system of satellite and ether television can be connected to the projector as information sources.

  Projector light stream power (It is calculated based on screen sizes and required level of screen illumination), resolution (not less than XGA), and contrast range (It is desirable, where possible, to use maximum for such projectors) have to be taken into account while choosing the projector for the electronic movie theater. The special objectives are set in projectors for providing of image generation of necessary sizes from the required distance.

• The screen:

  Powerful projector is not enough for the bright imagery. A screen quality influences on the final result also. Therefore the correct choice of screen type and surface type for every specific case helps to obtain the best image.

  In spite of exterior similarity of all projection screens, distinctions are very substantial between them. These distinctions are showed up in major elements: fasteners, supports, screen surface and etc. These is a guarantee of image quality and screen reliability in the operational process.
